Usually I also have a browser open from which I open images, but don't perform file operations like delete, I just browse forward or backward and then escape to browser. Anyway, recently I experienced this on rare occasion... mostly with large JPGs > 2MB.

When using the browser context menu to open a folder in XnViewMP, the focus needs to be set by mouse or tab on the elements of the file list before the arrow keys can be used to navigate.
