i just tried this again, and same problem, no thumbs and no playback for .mov (ipad).. i downloaded also a newer ffmeg from the dev site.

i unpacked it to /addons , but still i dont see thumbs, how do i get xnview to use it? does it still show only the first ...

Video Thumbnails without codec installed?
is there some plugin maybe that can use some other .dll, like the libavcodec.dll (eg vlc) for creating thumbnails?
lots of people, who are serious about keeping the windows installation clean,
didnt install codecs when standalone solutions like vlc, mplayer, kmplayer etc. are available..

i noticed this happens only the first time one uses lossless jpeg transformation,
rotating the second time one the same picture just works fine then, so maybe you want to make a copy of my uploaded picture first.

here its not random, its ALWAYS 180° no matter if invoked from the menu or a button.

using 1.97.2 (libf5.60) i still got (through various version jumps)
the problem that when i choose lossles rotation clockwise 90° it rotates 180°..
anyone can confirm this?

.. and no to forget a way to set the default format! now everytime i open an image from my browser to xnview and upload it, its always in png... but i would like it to be a jpg.

maybe also the imageshack rightclick option on zip files? so one could zip the pictures before sending (dont know if imageshack still accepts this.
