Re: MP 0.35 Win: Fullscreen issues
So maybe it is caused by something that was patched in SP3?. Now, in that case, the question is whether XnView MP will support SP2 (and thus needs to be fixed) or if it will only support SP3 (and no fix is needed).
It would be nice if someone with SP2 could try and reproduce these issues.

MP 0.35 Win: Fullscreen issues
I decided to create a thread here instead of continue the discussion in this thread.
In the linked thread I mentioned a crash that happens on my Windows XP SP2 machine whenever the Info window is displayed in fullscreen mode. Unfortunately it seems the crash can't be confirmed. I hope the issues I ...

Re: Add the Browser into FullScreenMode (Left) - Option
It seems to happen with every image, no matter the source or the metadata. Also, I've just tried it on my brother's machine and I was able to reproduce the crash.
Both machines have Windows XP SP2 and I'm able to reproduce the crash with these steps:

Re: Add the Browser into FullScreenMode (Left) - Option
So maybe the bug is caused by something on my end. It is weird, though, that I was able to reproduce it on a VM. I'll check it on my brother's machine.

Re: Add the Browser into FullScreenMode (Left) - Option
Somewhat related... on Windows XP, every time you go into fullscreen and move the mouse all the way to the right to display the info window it causes XnView MP to crash when you close the program or if you exit fullscreen mode and close the Image tab.
Can someone confirm this?.

Navigation thumbnail when zooming a region
On XnView MP 0.35 beta, when you open an image and zoom an area of it by selecting it with the mouse, there's no navigation thumbnail. I guess it should be present.
On a somewhat related note, on some images the navigation thumbnail seems to go outside of the window as shown in the next image ...

Default file type for Save as...
When you copy an image into the clipboard (for example with the Print Screen key) and paste it into XnViewMP ( Edit > Import clipboard ), the default file type for the Save as... command seems to always be JPEG. I'd like to be able to customize it, or at least XnViewMP to remember my last choice ...

Re: Open with XnView goes fullscreen
The expected behavior for Closing last tab exits XnView would be that XnView quits regardless if the last tab is a browser or a viewer child window.
Is that what you mean?
Yeah. As I said in the first post, if you open an image from the Windows explorer (using Open with... , for example), when you ...

Oh, wow!. I totally missed those settings. Thank you.
However...
Tools » Settings... » Interface » Interface » Synchronize browser when view is closed It makes sense but, in the case I described, it kinda works contrary to it's neighbor setting Closing last tab exits XnView .

XnViewMP won't remember last directory
XnView's startup directory is set to "Last" in the settings but it won't remember the last directory if you close XnView by closing the Browser tab. It does remember the last directory if you close the window, though.
I'm using Windows XP.
