Do you have an idea why it is not here? It still looks like in my screenshot above. In browser view only DSCN0666_1.jpg is portrait and the exif rotation icon is displayed.

Orientation "Rotate 90 CW" is orientation. Please, re-read my post. I wrote that uploading them to the host removed orientation. That's why I added the screenshots of ExifTool.

The icon is displayed if Rotate images according to EXIF orientation tag is activated and Use embedded thumbnail is disabled:
I don't think this behavior is user friendly - at least not for me. I have files from a camera that does not add exif orientation. I turned them clockwise with XnV ...

it's there. save as --> JPG Guetzli JPG
also \plugins\guetzli_windows_x86-64.exe is present.
but as said, it doesn't do anything. progress bar is shown and disappears again after a while (as expected), but there is absolutely NO file on the disk. nowhere.
Nothing here in Windows-64-bit version ...

- What is the format of your files(*.jpg, *.png, ...) in the folder? How many files are in the folder?
- Could you perhaps provide three files which cause the problem so that we can reproduce?

Now it's crazy:
If I click the first or last file the order in picture view is correct now. If I click any file in between and then use forward/backward buttons the next file (sometimes also next two) is sorted by name then ...

That's exactly what Pierre experienced even with my ini-file. Here it is still the same as described.
