Both links are the same and lead to the General Support forum.
The download link (x64 setup) in "Announcement: XnView MP 0.82" supplies the latest version 0.83.
OK, found it myself: http://download.xnview.com/old_versions/
I'll try and let you know.

0.83: XnView doesn't react for several minutes [Fixed]
Hi,
vesion 0.83 doesn't react for several minutes when I want to open a folder with several thousand icons. I think 0.82 didn't have that lag.

Yes, as posted.xnview wrote:Format settings>Write>Jpeg>Use estimated quality is enabled?bege wrote:
- in XnViewMP the file size changes with the quality slider: 100% = 5,86MB, 90% = 2,36MB, 80% = 1,66MB. So Classic seems to be able to estimate the quality, MP not.

Is there any need to have XnView beside XnView MP?

When I changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 64-bit I only installed XnView MP. The only problem I came across is that the Media Detector cannot open XnView MP but only XnView...

Installing XnView 2.0: Registration of DLL/OCX fails
Hi,
when installing XnView 2.0 an error message pops up: Registration of DLL/OCX fails.
May this be the result of an incompatibility with an installed codec pack (K-Lite)?
If ignoring, may this cause any trouble in using XnView or other programs?

Is that kind of related to my request to have a tool to reorganize the database, i.g. to remove non-existing files from the database? Then I,too, would very much like to have that!mahikeulbody wrote:I would like !
