This conversion works:
nconvert.exe -resize 220 220 -ratio -q 80 -out jpeg -o "05300003_new.JPG" "05300003_original.JPG"
If I use -jpegtrans the original file will be overwritten, nconvert does not create a new one:
nconvert.exe -resize 220 220 -ratio -q 80 -out jpeg -jpegtrans exif -o ...

How can I put easy a sign or a fixed text on all my pictures... i.g. my initials.

It should use the slideshow-options in xnview ...
