There seems to be a special 64-bit version,
do you happen to have the 64-bit Vista ?

Helmut, a litlle bit offtopic perhaps,
and maybe this is mentioned somewhere else in this forum,
but where and when is the xnview.ini file being written,
I can't see it in the XNVIEW directory, nor in any of the sub-dirs.

Yes that would be a very usefull feauture,
I know, Exiftool (gui) is the number-one tool for manipulating Exif,IPTC and XMP data back and forth,
but some basic options in xnview would be very welcome.
And yes, we already have some options,
but what i like about xnview is that it is a all-in-one ...

Thanks OOPS66 ,
I figured that one out myself already,
unfortunately there seem to be some problems:
see:

If this works, this will be completely satisfactory for me.

grts,

It would also be nice if the "show information" flag
would be remembered the next time
one starts xnview again.

OK, I now have the XMP.DLL as an add-on,
and now I have also the option to
"build IPTC from XMP" available.
However if I apply this option to a JPG file containing XMP-data
xnview crashes immediately.
I tried this with other JPG images but they all seem to behave this way.
If the JPG doesn't ...

show XMP data in image

Since my last question about displaying XMP data,
there where no reactions, I presume that it is not possible with the latest Xnview build to show XMP data overlayed on an image.
(in either slide-show/preview or full-pscreen-mode)

I therefor have a feature request:

Using Photoshop or Vista's file ...

PhotoShop XMP keywords on XNVIEW slideshow

I have a question:

when I add keywords to my camera images with Photoshop CS3,
I believe they are added in XMP data.
The Vista OS can show these keywords directly in the filelist,
also XNVIEW (version 1.94) shows them in the XMP listing.
My question is how to display these XMP keywords
as an ...
