A very minor issue:
In the xnview.ini file, section [Slide], it says "SortOder=0" (missing "r").

Helmut, a litlle bit offtopic perhaps,
and maybe this is mentioned somewhere else in this forum,
but where and when is the xnview.ini file being written,
I can't see it in the XNVIEW directory, nor in any of the sub-dirs.

EDIT: I found it, its a Vista thing to move the ini file outside of the program files directory into a "virtual store" directory as a rule governed
by the UAC (user account control),
anyway I now am able to export my settings to another PC (with XP on it) , thanks .

Good that you have found the answer to your question, René. There's various info regarding the .ini files provided in FAQ Info about XnView's settings (store & load). It's a bit outdated, though.
