Slight image distortion when first opened

I can see slight image distortion when opening 4K image at the first time.

Funny thing - you can see that distortion only when you literally doing nothing but staring at the image or moving mouse around. Every UI action like hitting ALT key or opening right click menu or scrolling images will fix ...

Monitor goes off for a sec when scrolling through images AND videos in full screen

Hello, i have a weird problem when my monitor goes off (black screen) for a sec when scrolling through images AND videos in full screen mode.
I am not saying it is related to XnView MP because it can be Nvidia drivers or bugged HDR mode on my monitor or even codecs or my "outdated" Windows 10, but ...

Re: Batch Convert UI element density decreased?

Right when you use fonte scaling. You can disabled it by setting environment variable QT_ENABLE_HIGHDPI_SCALING=0 or starting xnview -noDpiScaling

Can you add this option to the INI someday?

I have other QT programs and they look good with default scale so i dont want to change it globally ...

Re: Batch Convert UI element density decreased?

i've tried XnConvert 1.95 & XnView MP 1.3.1 and batch convert has same UI&size

It looks like everything is tied to the Windows scale mode or display resolution/scale combo, on a 4K screen with 150% scale XnConvert looks just as good as with 100% and XnView will have more space between UI ...

Batch Convert UI element density decreased?

Hello.

I dont know if this is intended change or not but i suddenly noticed that XnView MP Batch Convert UI is way more... spacious vs XnConvert UI? I am not sure when this change was made, but surely >1.3

The UI looks pretty much identical (some icons got bigger and this is not a bad thing at all ...

Batch Convert > Resize > Longest side > Percentage mismatch

This bug applies to both XnView MP and standalone XnConvert

Batch Convert > Resize > Longest side option will produce wrong results if applied.

For example
1) source file: rectangular 2000x3000px image (width x height)
2) Batch Convert > Resize
3) mode Longest Side
4) 50,00% (it can be 70 ...

Re: Resize (longest and shortest side) and Last Used conflict

:bugconfirmed: Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem .

Only for 'Longest' & 'Shortest' mode, right?

I don't use them but i just tried and "Mpixels" and "Shortest side" were bugged too!
"Size(%)" and "Size(Pixels)" is unaffected on my PC.

Resize (longest and shortest side) and Last Used conflict

I dont know if this is a bug or not, but if i resize image by longest or shortest side and then will try to resize again, then the Resize dialog will use Last Used Preset but not the last typed value that is showed in the UI.

1) Here i used Resize dialog for the first time per session and typed ...

Sort by date but in direct order, like in Windows Explorer

Let say that we have 3 group of files with different dates, and the files within the group have identical date down to a second.

Windows Explorer (sort by date, descending i.e. newest first):
1 date3
2 date3
3 date3
4 date3
5 date3
6 date2
7 date2
8 date1
9 date1
10 date1

XnView MP (sort by date ...

Re: XnView MP 0.99.0

It just me or XnView MP got a really big speed bump when opening and/or scrolling through image files in 0.99 (Windows x64)?
I hope this is not a bug in some library hehe.
