It might be some error on you .ini file.

Go to the XnView folder, locate xnview.ini and rename it.

Restart XnView and see if you still have that error.

Don't forget renaming the .ini file will reset you preferences. ;)

yes, confirmed.

Opened an image, Shift+E to open Ajust window, enabled "apply to image" then the image changed with the gamma/brightness/contrast values, that's ok!

But then I disabled the "apply to image" and the full-image (not the preview) kept the changed settings, if I press cancel the full ...

add a "hidable" preview panel to the save as dialog.

for example, sometimes we want to save in a lossy format and a preiew would help us choosing the right compression.

another good idea would be having the "write" properties of the file format we chose to save as, on the fly so that the preview ...

the deluxe icons rules! it has the same "eye" and looks very modern.
the deluxe toolbar rules too, it's way better the the actual xnview default one.

but still, my favourite toolbar is the gorilla one... and by the way, what happened with it?

yoh have to understand that there's no way to make a perfect 16x16 transparent icon with no background.

it might look good on light backgrounds, but it will lock awefull on dark ones and vice-versa.

the "page" was an alternative to not using a plain background, for example, check photoshop's main ...
