"High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen?
Hi,
is it possible to activate "High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen mode? On my system, I get ugly pixelinterpolations in fullscreen, whereas the option works fine for windowed mode. Is there a trick how to enable "High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen?
Btw, can I tell XNview always to open pictures in real fullscreenmode (i.e. no captions, bars, etc.) rather than windowed mode when I press enter?
cu,
Jackie

Do you have option/View/Zoom - Enlarge?Jackie wrote:is it possible to activate "High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen mode? On my system, I get ugly pixelinterpolations in fullscreen, whereas the option works fine for windowed mode. Is there a trick how to enable "High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen?
Take a look at option/general/Switch modeBtw, can I tell XNview always to open pictures in real fullscreenmode (i.e. no captions, bars, etc.) rather than windowed mode when I press enter?

Hi,
what does fullscreen lite mean? It doesn't work for me with fullscreen when I enlarge pictures, you can clearly see it does not work.
Btw, I get the following error message when I start XNView:
"ncsecw.dll component not found" (or similar, it's in german language for me). What can I do to fix?
Thank you,
Jackie

Not called
Jackie78
Hello !
- As far as I can see from "ScanBin", XnView doesn't call that DLL, as well as a direct call (13 are called) as an indirect call (6 are called).
Moreover, it doesn't exist here in my PC under Xp-Pro, and I've not your problem !

So remove Xecw.dllBtw, I get the following error message when I start XNView:

Re: "High Zoom Quality" in fullscreen?
Well... I tried with all HQ enabled (HQ Enlarge and all) and a small image is just pixelized when enlarged in Browser fullscreen (Zoom >100% +image smaller than screen)...xnview wrote:No, i use it for browser fullscreen too (if picture is smaller than window)Olivier_G wrote:Pierre: remember that it doesn't work in 1.82 with Fullscreen lite, as we saw there...

Yes, right, but a large picture in 'fit large' for example, use the HQ.Olivier_G wrote:Well... Currently there is no HQ in enlarge zoom.

Does not work for me either, as mentioned here: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=5095xnview wrote:Yes, right, but a large picture in 'fit large' for example, use the HQ.
Currently there is no HQ in enlarge zoom.
I can see a clear difference between viewer and fullscreen mode.

I have no problem with it. So, how do you start the fullscreen? F11?Danny wrote:Sure. Take a look at this one for example:xnview wrote:Hum, could you send me an example, screen resolution used?
In fullscreen mode the letters look all scrambled while in the viewer they're smoothed out. Dektop resolution is 1280x960.
Do you have option/View/Zoom quality/Reduce?
Pierre.
