[XnView ShellExt] Converting with transparency

I noticed when converting a transparent PNG the transparency won't stick when converting to GIF. Is it possible to change that?

What's next? "Make the toolbar deep-black or I'll kill that kitten"?

Check if image is already opened

When I'm in the browser and click the button "Open" the selected image is opened in the viewer. When I click "Browser" afterwards, XnView switches to the browser tab.

Seconded.

I learned how helpful these icons can be by comparing the menus of a freshly installed Firefox browser to the menus after installing this menu icons extension:

Wonderful, thanks.

Another suggestion: are there any plans to add icons to the menu items (main menu and right-click-menu)?
That would make it much easier to find a specific item on the fly.

What about the tabs in the preview pane, like in the deluxe version? Would be great IMO.

Ah, now I got it. There were two effects that made me stumble:

- you can only toggle the third checkbox when the first one is checked
- the big-size-folder-icons are cached, too, so I had to clear the cache to make them go

Thanks a lot :D

I don't know how. These are my settings (note the last line). There's nothing more to disable (what about the greyed out one?).

Oversized folder icons

Damn, I missed the post from last November where folder icons were discussed.

In the new version the folders are displayed much bigger than it was in previous versions. Not only that I'm not interested in previews on folders I also don't like this oversized folder icons.

Can I switch that off so ...

If you want a Deluxe feature, please post your request here.
