On the 'Change color depth' action do you have '32 bits' selected?
The output image is 24 bits rather than 32 bits, which should preserve the transparency in the original file.

Re: Display JPEG quality / compression level in info box
The JPEG quality is very hard to find in XnviewMP, only displayed in a cluttered property box and only in Browser mode . It would be really good to have these details accessible through the information box in View mode as shown below. Welcome to the forum, pangwolin (-: I skim through a lot of pict...

Re: XnViewMP - Favourite folders dropdown arrows missing after upgrade.
I'm relatively new to XnView, I discovered it only a few months ago and I'm not an advanced user... could you help me with the procedure of editing the INI file please? Where do I start from? You can find the location of the ini file from Tools > Settings > Integration -- Paths and then open the fo...

Re: documentation?
This is the full list of supported formats: Supported formats.
While it may not be absolutely up to date, it is very unlikely that support for writing to Photoshop formats has been added, the formats currently supported by XnConvert are listed on the Output tab Format dropdown list.

Re: documentation?
I'm new to XnConvert. Downloaded and installed from the App Store, no problem. I've spent some time looking through various windows and examples, but I'm unsure about file conversion. Is there a website anywhere which goes over the details of what I'm hoping to do (batch converting jpgs or pngs to ...

PLEASE let us flip images without saving it automatically after we flip it. Also, let us select part of a picture and ONLY flip what's selected. Finally, let us flip pictures that aren't saved! Idk why this was ever changed, but now I can only flip pictures that are saved to the disk. Before, in Xn...

Re: How to move an object on an image
You didn't answer my first question asking how you cut the images by selecting the upper right pixel! Using XnConvert? :?: BTW: this is a repetitive task and I have to avoid much manual work. If it takes to much time, the project has to be canceled. If you are able to batch convert satisfactorily us...

Re: How to move an object on an image
I was able to cut the images selecting the upper right pixel. Could you elaborate on how you did that, using XnView software? The remaining step is to increase the canvas. When doing this the canvas is filled white. How to make it transparent? You used XnConvert 'Canvas resize' action? As said I'm ...

The problem is, that they aren't unique. It's a set of collections of hand drawn pictures by different artists. Every time I'm looking for what they have in common, I get surprised. The aim is to make them unique. May be xnview is the wrong tool. I'm looking for two steps. A gimp like command cut it...

Re: How to move an object on an image
The problem is that there are different types of transparency and it is not a subject with which I am very familiar, and you quite possibly can't easily create a test image with good confidence that it is representative... If you are unable to provide a test image, I can give you some ideas but I wo...

Re: How to move an object on an image
It would be useful to have a representative image to test two ideas I have, but I suppose you can't easily create one that you can be sure is technically representative?
Otherwise, I can give you some ideas but that will take more time and they may not work...
