XnView MP no access to external file systems

Hello,
I’ve been trying to enable XnView MP to access file systems on external devices and network shares, but I haven’t found a solution yet. I suspect the issue is related to permissions, as I can access the internal filesystem without any problems. However, external drives mounted via the native disk/filesystem tool are not visible in XnView’s filesystem explorer.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
