Re: [v0.81] Crash when selecting video files in browser

I changed the parameter and yes it works. I checked different video formats and it's all ok.

Side-effect on the full-screen mode: I did not notice immediately but after having run a video, any picture opened in full screen opens in a new window, standard window with the banner and the 3 buttons on ...

Re: [v0.81] Crash when selecting video files in browser

I encounter MP crashing since version 0.80, related to video files it seems. I sent some crash reports.
Also, the sound is bad, corrupt, sometime looping the last sample at the end of a clip.

I just checked the last 3 versions on the same machine (Windows 7 64 bits / Klite codecs 11.4.0) and both ...

Re: 0.78 64 bit [WIN10]: MP4 Preview not working

Hi Pierre,

We had a very similar behaviour with the initial delivery of 0.75 and it was fixed later in 0.76. Since then we do not need anymore a Codec Pack.
Please, keep this easy-to-use model, that's for the majority of users who just want to download, try and use XnView MP out-of-the-box :)

At ...

Re: 0.78 64 bit [WIN10]: MP4 Preview not working

I Aggree with Jwehren's view.

I would like to add some additional info. Both my Windows 10 /64 and my Windows 7 /32 are fresh installs. I mean I never installed any FFMPEG or si,ilar codec pack. This was a great improvement in recent versions of MP that the latest versions of QT relies on original ...

Re: 0.78 64 bit [WIN10]: MP4 Preview not working

Confirmed: .MP4 and .MOV files are not played since upgrade to v0.78. .WMV works fine.

I have 2 machines: One Win 10 /64 bits and another Windows 7 /32 bits and it's the same. I kept the same .ini file in order to ensure same settings.

Also it's not limited to the browser preview pane but in the ...

Re: MP and video clips - Some deficiencies

you open a folder with pictures and movies, and use quick slideshow? And the slideshow doesn't wait the end of video?

Fixed! Thank you, now we can let the slideshow run with a mixed content :D Very few systems allows this.

And the below is fixed:
- In full screen / Slideshow mode, when there ...

Re: Playing Video clips - When required

I noticed this problem as well. I have a notebook (Win 7 32 bits) where v0.75 is installed for months and video plays well.
The other day I decided to upgrade my main machine (Win 7 64 bits) from 0.72 to 0.75 and I have the same behaviour as described by Teo. I reverted back to 0.72 and it was OK ...

Re: XnView MP: Rotate images according to EXIF orientation t

It seems the behaviour described relates to a refresh issue. That's a long run issue with MP. We use to press F5 regularly and sometime even need to temporary change focus to another folder in order to get the list refreshed. I agree that's painful and may discourage new users.

The other topic ...

Re: No new bugs between 0.72 & 0.75??

With version 0.75 we can't play any video :(

The player buttons comes visible as well as the time bar, but the play button is inactive.
I tried in the browser / preview and in full screen as well. Same result.

We can even move the position on the time bar but no way to (dis)play any image from ...

0.75 playing video

Difference in the format of dates & times on many displays.
Version 0.75 only show Hours:Minutes :(
Version 0.72 always shows Hours:Minutes:seconds

I noticed Seconds are missed in labels under the Thumbnails, in file properties tab, EXIF tab and in the Change Timestamp dialog.

Create Multipage File - Animated GIF

Would it be possible to add "Animated GIF" in the list of multipage formats for exporting?

I used t have an external tool to produce them and it's a bit cumbersome: Export/convert all individual files in GIF format somewhere, import in the tool, create the animated GIF and copy the result in the ...

Exactly. We improved this in (old) XnView some time ago.
