Re: "Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-

The ViewMode of Xnviewmp on my laptop is not full-screen; has no tab; always has the tool bar. To switch from ViewMode to BrowseMode, I click the "Browse" button on the tool bar. The BrowseMode has the folder pane, thumbnail pane, and preview pane (from left to right). To switch from BrowseMode to V...

Re: "Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-

Pierre, I am sorry. The "Scenario 2a" should be as the following: (I underlined the part I did not include) Scenario 2a: (Problem: "Save Changed File" confirmation does not appear) In View-Mode, I edit an image (e.g. crop). I go to Browse-Mode. ("Save Changed File" confirmation does not appear) I do...

"Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-Mode

Halo, forum members. XnviewMP 0.72 and 0.75beta on Windows7 32bit. I frequently forget to save images after editing them. However, I do not like auto-save feature. Could you try the following "scenarios" and see if you experience the same issues? I think these 2 option-items are related to the issue...

Re: can I combine images by using XnViewMP ?

Thanks for the plan to include "Strip of images" feature in the next version of xnviewmp, Pierre. On Windows, I can switch to xnview classic to have that feature; but on Linux, I have to put all those images in a specific folder to be copied and processed later on Windows. Thanks. Thx Pierre, is the...

Re: XnViewMP - All photos open to bad quality.

If it happens when you zoom-in/out the image, check this setting item:
Menu > Tools > Settings > View > View tab > High zoom quality > select "Zoom-out & Zoom-in"

Re: Horizontal scroll of Folder pane automatically rewind ba

Pierre,

I also face this issue on XnViewMP 0.72 (Windows 7 32 bit). I haven't tried it on Linux.
I posted the message here: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=31155

For the latest version of XnView Classic for Windows, this issue does not appear.

Thanks

borzov, you can have images displayed in different tabs by doing this:

In Browse mode > Menu > View > Tab > Show (checked)

Thanks.

Halo. XnViewMP 0.72 on Windows 7 32bit. The layout I use for the browse mode is: Folder Pane, Thumbnail Pane, and Preview. Please, see the image attached. I must correct the words in the image. It is not the position of the Folder-Pane itself, but the position of the folders it displays. How to make...

Re: how can I convince XnView to sort order same as system ?

Oops, sorry.
I did not realize that "Name(not numeric)" field is not available when we right click the header.

Pierre, is it possible to add "Name(not numeric)" field so that we can quickly use that sort without having to go to the menu or use sort-by icon on the toolbar?

Thanks.

Re: how can I convince XnView to sort order same as system ?

halo, cristi. In Browse mode, I use the thumbnails layout. I also make the header appear, via the menu: View > Sort by > Show header (at the bottom of the drop-down menu) Then I can select which fields appear on the header by right-clicking the header. To make the order ascending or descending, I si...
