Edit an image without saving; reload it. What is expected?

Halo, forum members.

In View Mode, I edit an image by cropping part of it.
Then, before saving the image, I unintentionally click the "Reload" button on the toolbar.
The original image appears.

1. Can XnViewMP re-display the image I already edited ?

2. Can XnViewMP, before reloading the image ...

arrows to move +/-1 pixel?

Re: More than one instance of the program open

For XnViewMP on Mac, do you have this option-item to uncheck?

Menu > Tools > Settings > General > General tab > "One instance of program only"

Re: "Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-

Halo, other users of xnviewmp.

Am I the only person who do not use "tab" on xnviewmp ?

If you do not use "tab", do you see the issue I report in this thread ?

Thanks

Re: "Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-

The ViewMode of Xnviewmp on my laptop is not full-screen; has no tab; always has the tool bar.
To switch from ViewMode to BrowseMode, I click the "Browse" button on the tool bar.

The BrowseMode has the folder pane, thumbnail pane, and preview pane (from left to right).

"Save Changed File" confirmation before going to Browse-Mode

Halo, forum members.

XnviewMP 0.72 and 0.75beta on Windows7 32bit.

I frequently forget to save images after editing them. However, I do not like auto-save feature.

Could you try the following "scenarios" and see if you experience the same issues?

I think these 2 option-items are related to the ...

Re: can I combine images by using XnViewMP ?

Thanks for the plan to include "Strip of images" feature in the next version of xnviewmp, Pierre.
On Windows, I can switch to xnview classic to have that feature; but on Linux, I have to put all those images in a specific folder to be copied and processed later on Windows.
Thanks.

If it happens when you zoom-in/out the image, check this setting item:

Re: Horizontal scroll of Folder pane automatically rewind ba

Pierre,

I also face this issue on XnViewMP 0.72 (Windows 7 32 bit). I haven't tried it on Linux.
I posted the message here: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=31155

For the latest version of XnView Classic for Windows, this issue does not appear.

Thanks
