is it possible to have your xnview.ini?
Here you go, I hope you can reproduce it... thanks for looking into it. you have enable 'lock zoom'
Thanks, that's it - it's rather hard to spot that it's enabled, at least with my current color scheme.[/quote]

Re: Bring back default "Auto Image Size" option!
Auto Image size setting (in my case "Fit Window size - all pictures") is not saved but only applies when I use it with hotkey.
For me, the auto image size option is always automatically reverted to "Fit Window Size - only large pictures)
The problem then is, that all smaller pics are displayed ...

Re: [Windows] xnviewmp.exe sticky process after close
What do you mean with "always a running process"? If it's stuck after close (i.e. XnViewMP window is gone), then yes, it's always running at 25% cpu load (4-core system). i means without 'read ahead'?
Nope, it seems without read ahead xnviewmp closes just fine. Alas, I didn't try it a 1000 times ...

Re: FLIF file format support for MP
This format has great potential, afaik it beats every other format in every aspect.
Not quite, the author himself states that other formats are better for lossy photo compression than lossy flif. The advantage of flif ist great 100% lossless mode, no generation loss when lossy, and it doesn't ...

Re: [Windows] xnviewmp.exe sticky process after close
do you use 'read ahead'?
Yes, absolutely. I can try to disable it and see if it still hangs though, even if's tricky to tell as it occurs only so often.
always a running process?

Am I supposed to be downloading some sort of plugin or addon in order to utilize this feature and to enable thumbnails for these file formats?

Re: [fixed] bpgdec.exe console flicker
if i compile it with USE_JCTVC disabled, the filesize is smaller, as expected. so JCTVC clearly gets linked in, but still bpgenc.exe refuses to use it.
or am i missing something here?
When I compiled bpgenc I discovered that even complete out-of-the-box compilation is broken for jctvc, it throws ...

always? All thumbnails are built?
It happens maybe in 10'% of cases, and thumbnails don't seem to have anything to do with it - I open a file from the command line or explorer (i.e. single image mode), sometimes browse other files in the same folder with back/forward, and then close xnview. One ...

i'm not gonna bother with encoding (too many dependencies), but here's a x64 bit version of bpgdec.exe 0.9.7 with subsystem changed.
Thanks!

0.81 Windows: xnviewmp.exe sticky process after close
I know this isn't exactly the most helpful bug report, but it happens rather often and is annoying:
After closing XnViewMP (I'm currently running x64), the task is still active even though the window is gone. The task keeps consuming the same amount of cpu power (25% on my 4-core system), i.e ...
