Of course as an option... As long as I can assign "my own" (the rest of the world actually) hotkeys to common actions. Sometimes, it's good to get out and look at what the majority of imaging software use as default in the industry. I believe it can't be a bad thing to encourage some convergence in ...

I might be totally off base here, but what about just using 2 instance of the browser ? for all of you alternative file manager maniacs. for what it's worth this is probably the very very last feature I would want in xnview. I totaly understand that once you guys see a file browser in any app you wa...

Yes, a toggle grid button would be useful.
I believe mezich has done that already.

Have a look at the program "Griffith 0.9.7.1" and tell me they haven't copied XnView's eye-style logo!
Let me tell you, they haven't copied it !

Totally Agree.
a Tag which you can't select is a broken tab.
it should always be hidden (and not as an option) if the viewer buffer is empty.

Ok, but when it does all what you want why you want to get away from it? it doesn't. ACDSee lacks support for quite a few important formats. and, worse their support is 100% unresponsive. to be honest I'd be more than happy to pay (even a lot) to get a efficient viewer with an extensive format supp...

Perhaps the problem is the High quality zoom. Please try out disabling high quality zoom in "Tools > Options > View > High Quality Zoom Thanks again Helmut, that got rid of the delay. (now, maybe that something that could get a multithreading cure - or a job for the gpu) :) yet fast navigation isn'...

Thanks for the answer Helmut. My apologies for stating things without checking enough. (to be honest I had xnview uninstalled) I really wonder how I could miss that Keyboard /mouse section, somehow I think I got confused between xnviewMP and xnview. As for the caching, there is certainly roo...

I agree. But should it not be:
"Allow pasting to selected subfolder"?
not native here, but indeed it does sounds better.

I also find xnview viewer to be very slow to navigate around images in a folder. I don't think this is a processor issue. it's rather a i/o bottleneck. Some read ahead procedure would be more than welcome to drastically speed things up. now, to have xnview multithreaded is always a good thing and co...
