Shortcut mouse wheel: zoom in / out in different steps?
How could I use the shortcut mouse wheel + CTRL to zoom in / out with a step of about 1 % (per wheel step rotation) resize / zoom in / out and use the single mouse wheel to zoom in / out with about 20 % (per wheel step rotation) resize / zoom in / out? Or vice verca.

I cannot find such a tab here. I have a panel /area called "Folders" with a folder tree, but I do not want to each time click through the folders.

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
That should look reasonable when viewed at a smaller size, provided the number of pixels remains the same... :D
Yes, I dragged and dropped the image over an open odt in LibreOffice and it appears to look good:

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
But to get a signature that looks realistic you will normally need a consistent colour, in your screenshot above the 'signature' itself has blue and white pixels;
That screenshot shows the result after saving to png (from jpg). The writing is only blue, a blue pen. The background actually pure / a ...

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
Now I made it, took another template / jpg. With 16 colors it worked.
In your image above you have both blue and white pixels which won't work, you need at the most different shades of blue.
But why different shades of blue? I thought the most important is to get the background color (here white ...

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
Yes, Micro is not the best, like - I guess - most of such huge companies.
One thing you could do, preferably from a better starting point, would be to clean up the image by removing stray pixels.
OK, good idea. And, that brings me to another idea, couldn't I just increase the contrast or make the ...

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
I had no problem, but it is on a Windows 10 laptop so I prefer not to use it
Sorry, what does that mean? I also have a Win 10 notebook.
Thank you for the screenshot. Yes, it is shown correctly here after downloading it:

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
Whatever I choose here no transparency shown in the preview:

A black and white signature might be best, or for another colour, an image with reasonably pure colours.
I would think those two colours are very pure. Blue and white (paper).

Re: How can I save an image with a transparent background?
Didn't notice that, thank you.
16 colours do not work as well. Respectively the background seems to be transparent but the writing is bad:

Cannot find the export option in the classic version...ah, at a different place.

Re: How can I save an image (png) with transparent background?
Among other things I want to use my signature to sign contracts or such on PDFs, docs, etc. Is there may be another way with using the smartphone and XnViewMP to get my signature digitized without background?
