I wanted to do it.
But when I was looking for a way to upload a file i found out that not nconvert is the problem.
When I copy a file from one PC to another the Thumbs are shown in correct direction.

So, all I have to do is to delete Thumbs.db and than to reopen the folder.

Thanks for your help ...

Rotate embedded thumbs for XP

Hello,

I find out the very fine function from nconvert and xnview to rotate JPeG dependent on EXIF.

My problem is that XP SP2 do not shows thumbnails in the correct rotation after pictures are rotated with nconvert (4,79) or xnview.

I do not find a command line option for nconvert to renew ...

Maybe we could try Esperanto :-)

I test nconvert and dicover some features.
I always put my pictures with my digicam Canon A80 with MS explorer onto my harddisk.

Then there are *four" timestamps and three of them are absolute identical.

- create date
- change date
- access date
- picture record ...

Hi bob

My XP shows times of changing for a file in a CMD-Box.

I think if you check date with windows explorer you can see unchanged dates for saving or building for your jpeg files.

Sorry I don't know the exact translation and I use german Windows.

ONLY rotate and do nothing else

Hello,

I just want to rotate all JPEGs and their thumbs depending on EXIF-orientation flags (-jpegtrans exif) but I want to be very sure that nconvert do nothing else.

So I want that the picture quality remains even as the file dates, the EXIF-datas, and everything else.

Is that possible with ...

One click slideshow

Hello,

is it possible to use XNView as a "oneclick slideshow" as it is included in Windows XP?

At this moment I know only the hot key STRG+L and than I have to add files to a list. Windows XP adds all files from the active folder to the list and shows it.

Maybe is it possible to include such a ...
