Hi Helmut,
thanks a lot for this hint, yes that's what I was searching for.
It's not that comfortable as if I would be able to directly zoom and toggle, but I can use it quite well.
Just in a Dual-Screen environment there is a small "bug".

Hi Pierre,
Nikon has developed a RAW Codec that may be used to read NEF-Files.
Maybe it helps, but it's only made for Vista.

Keep Zoom Factor with Position
When I'm comparing 2 pictures, which one is sharper,
I'd like to zoom into both pictures and toggle the view.
When I normaly toggle between pictures, the zoom factor is reset.
When I lock the zoom factor (Ctrl+/), only the upper left corner is zoomed.
Is there any way to zoom into a picture, lock ...

scaling to the shorter side
After testing this software now for some days, I found, it's the best viewer for my needs (many thanks to the team).
What I like:
+: fast loading of pictures
+: Thumbnails are used consequently
+: very good slide-show
+: IPTC support
What I don't like: nothing (except, that I didn't find this ...

Preferences (F12) are reset at next start
When I change my settings (F12),
close the program and start it again,
some settings are sometimes reset to default.
There are not always the same settings reset,
but sometimes also the preview window is gone.
I'm using Windows Vista.
Is there any bug known, which could cause this?
