Re: XnView Impressions

Here are my observations of Delux, which has better features then the regular free version and a better interface, but: no PhotoShop PSD write Yes, not yet implemented no animated gif preview? No, you have gif preview thumbs very quick, but large files (5MB+) extremly slow to view and even preview....

In the XnView ressource file, you can change : *XmDrawingArea.background

If I read you right, that is correct Pierre. Couple other things I've noticed is that when viewing an image and press enter to go to browser, the thumbnail is shown of that image but the file isn't selected as stated before. I've tried pressing enter again to view the same image but the program doe...

Re: XnView 1.50: save as TIF CCITT Group 4 compression

desperate with TIF compressions: how can I convert a file into TIF with CCITT Group 4 compression ?? The option offered in the save-options "binary options" CCITT G4 doesn't really get the result I wish. For a single page I expect a 1 Bit file with about 100kB size. All my trials lead to either a L...

Re: File Selection issues

1. I select a file or many files and then minimize the program to use explorer or something. When I maximize xnview again the selection is gone, although the last file I selected is still shown - without any file being selected. Where is my selection? The selection, i think you means the focus?? th...

Re: I have a bug to report...

Okay, so my repro is really simple. Set up a directory with 10 jpegs, named 01.jpg to 10.jpg, all with vertical sizes greater than the size of the desktop (so a vertical scroll bar will show up). In Windows, associate .jpg with the XnView executable. Double-click on 01.jpg. Wheel downwards. The vie...

N'est-il pas possible que l'aperçu de la vidéo dans le browser s'adapte (comme pour les images) à la taille de l'aperçu. Cela était le cas dans les précédentes versions de XnView.

Re: I have a bug to report...

The option to set the mouse wheel as previous/next file is broken. It works the first time the program is restarted, but after that it reverts to scrolling up and down the image. Sometimes it advances from the first image to the second image, but then it scrolls down the second image instead of adv...
