Re: Make a New Folder and Name It
It is still not working as expected: When I create a new folder, it gets the name "New Folder 1" (or a higher number). The rename mode is activated, and the cursor is placed at the end of the name. If I now enter a name, e.g. "test", and press "enter", the folder will be named "New Folder 1test ...

"Show files in subfolders": Toolbar button and menu
There is a button "Show files in subfolder" (plural "s" missing) in the browser toolbar. I would suggest that it toggles between activated and deactivated when clicking on it (similar to the grid button in the viewer toolbar). Furthermore, there should also be a menu entry for this function in the ...

"Show files in subfolders" lost when viewing a file
If I choose to display all files in subfolders in the browser via "Browser Menu > View > Show files in subfolders", then open one of the files in the viewer, the display of the files in subfolders in the browser is lost. Instead, the folder with the viewed file is displayed.

More spin buttons
I'd like to suggest to add spin buttons for several number boxes in the settings to make it possible to change them with the mouse:

File format settings
I think that the file format settings are difficult to find in "Viewer menu > File > Format settings...".
They should be available in the settings dialog.

Show button for Info Pane
In "Main menu > View > Info Pane" I'm missing a "Show" button like in "Main menu > View > Data Pane". And perhaps a default shortcut would be useful.

Simplified Tab Handling
Working with tabs and the related settings is rather difficult in XnView, especially for new users. I think that the core of the problem is that XnView opens images in a new tab by default . So to simplify and improve working with tabs, I have the following suggestions:

It still doesn't work on the first viewed image in XnView v2.32 (2015-03-16). :bug:
In this case, the next and the previous image need to be decoded in advance.
