Re: XnView crashs when reading IPTC data in Batch Rename (CR2)

Actually, Xnview does not always crash, and never only in one file, but when many are selected and in particular when the first and the last of a directory is selected for the batch rename. Just reproduced with 10 copies of this file in a single dir.

Re: Geotagging: adding GPS data to the image EXIF contents
Thanks to a couple of threads in this forum, I found some software for geotagging my images. Then with Google I found some more.
In fact, I found so many that I thought it would be useful to summarise my findings as a mini-review.
I have posted it here: http://web.aanet.com.au/cameron/GPS/GPS ...

XnView crashs when reading IPTC data in Batch Rename (CR2)
I am using Geosetter to set the GPS in Exif and the location in IPTC of my Canon RAW files (CR2). Once saved, the data are perfecly read by other tools (Exiftool, DPP, etc)
Unfortunately, Xnview 1.96 seems to have pb to handle them.

Save as Tiff and exif lost
I still enjoy using XnView as main image viewer. Thanks.
I've just upgraded to v1.95.2 which seems to support IPTC for tiff files. What about EXIF?
I am currently working with Hugin to make some panorama and try to rework the resulting tiff with XnView.

Xnview 1.91.6 as Acdsee remplacement: how to speed up? RAW..
Hello,
I am using Xnview for quite a while. Thanks a lot for this powerful tool.
However, until now, I kept an old version of ACDSee as main viewer because it is faster. With all superior features of Xnview, I would like to drop completely ACDSee and use Xnview as main viewer. But sometimes, it ...
