Batch Processing does not convert my tiff to jpg

The Batch Processing is aim to save as another format, isn't it?
Did I set a wrong option?
Each time I try to convert a tif file to jpg via batch processing, I get a tif file at the end. The transformation (resize) are done, but not the convert.
I ve unzipped the last 1.95.2 over my previous install, which contains nconvert 5.02

The ouput format is 'jpeg'? 'Keep source if possible' is not checked?

au temps pour moi: "keep source if possible" was checked. I did not get that it was about the format...
