Thanks for trying to clarify the issue, but I don't think that this is what the others are talking about. I mean even you write that when the arrow keys are too slow then one just grabs the scrollbar itself and moves to wherever you want it. That would be no real problem if it's so easy to fix by ...

Same here. I tracked this down (maybe) to a problem with the Viewer window size. If it is like maximized but is not (means manually changd to nearly full screen size, with the window's statusbar hiding behind the taskbar).
It vanished after I resized the window so it is no longer behind the taskbar ...

You have zero points. First what most people do is just copy the archive content completely over the existing one. Second I do so for don't know how long and never had a problem. This means to me adding the ini is something new.
