That of course makes sense. What does not make sense is why conversion is happening when clicking on an image file. No thumbnail, no preview, no need to show the image, no need for any conversion.if you use 'sRGB profile' as default, there is a conversion when loading image

Hi Pierre,
Yes, as I said, I can reproduce with any random file. Take e.g. this one I chose at random - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_nJpNG-7zLlSohsCbpONupuKPzpTDn5k/view?usp=sharing , go to Explorer, perform ten times Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, so you have 11 identical files (1.jpg, 1 - Copy.jpg, etc.) in ...

Re: Touchscreen support
I'd love to have touchscreen support as well. Simple swipe left / right for next / previous image.
Perhaps also one option to define what a double-tap does when in Browser, similar to the double-click options under Interface - Switching mode.

0.96.5: {File Index} variable sometimes includes updir '..'
XnView: MP 0.96.5 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 v2004 - 64bit
The {File Index} variable sometimes includes the updir '..' item when counting files. As '..' is not a file that can be displayed it shouldn't be included in the calculation.

I'd also love to have such a feature. Keyboard scrolling an image is really slow compared to XnView Classic.

Re: XnView deletes .bak files
Hi Pierre,
I do not explicitly save the file, it gets saved automatically when I click Tools - JPEG Lossless transformations - Crop. No save necessary. (Perhaps there is an option I have changed to set this behavior, honestly I do not know.)

I see. So XnView currently supports the Apple standard but not the Nokia one (seeing as the Nokia sample images cannot be opened)?
TIA
