Hi all,
I have XnView set to show some EXIF data when in Fullscreen, however, that information is not automatically shown when in Viewer. How can I make this information appear permanently, so I do not always have to press "I" or go to View - Show information when in Viewer, please?
Thank you
Roman

Re: Batch Processing running on multiple cores
I wholeheartedly support this request. It would be very nice if XnView could eg. resize four images (in case of a quad-core processor) at the same time instead of just one after another.

Re: Pressing Tab crashes XnView
marsh,
I don't think so. If Tab would be caught by another program it should not crash XnView anyways.

Re: Pressing Tab crashes XnView
Bug still present in 1.98.2.
Perhaps it's related to my multi-monitor setup?

Pressing Tab crashes XnView
XnView 1.98.1
Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
clean .ini
From Explorer click on an image file (any JPG will do). XnView will open the image. Press Tab a few times. XnView crashes.

Re: Sony RAW images slow and incorrect brightness
This seems to be fixed in v1.98 beta 1, even though I could not find the fix being mentioned in the changelog.

Re: Enter does not switch view modes when more files opened
Hello Pierre,
Yes, Explorer is Windows Explorer. The file manager does not really matter, though, same with Total Commander.
EDIT: This seems to be working fine in 1.98 beta 1.
Thank you

Re: Sony RAW images slow and incorrect brightness
Hello obelisk , you obviously have no idea what a raw image is. go read up on it, if you want the raw to look exactly like the camera jpg, use the sony software. you may be disappointed in what the raw looks like, but sorry, THAT IS what your Sony camera took. If you don't know how to take photos pr...

Re: Sony RAW images slow and incorrect brightness
I tried all 16 combinations of "High resolution", "Use automatic white balance", "Use camera white balance" and "Automatic brightness". Does any combination produce a good image for you?xnview wrote:Do you use 'Use automatic balance' & 'Automatic brightness'?

OK, I can accept that, if there is no faster way, but the image still looks way worse than the JPG image (or the embedded preview). Any way this could be improved?xnview wrote:If you want to view ARW in high resolution, the loading will be slow... (decoding is slow)...

Re: Sony RAW images slow and incorrect brightness
Hello Pierre , all As a happy owner of a new Sony DSLR I have to agree with rra , the ARW file looks much worse than the JPG and it takes a long time to read / process. I have uploaded one sample ARW and the corresponding JPG for testing. http://thehacker.totalcmd.net/xnview/DSC00015.ARW http://theh...
