Re: How to add a button to show-hide alphas?

No no..."Show Mask" it's different.
"Show Mask " show only the mask. So you see only the alpha channel in black and white.

Instead The command "Use alpha channel" it will show the pictures "and" the trasparency caused by the alpha mask.
Try by yourself. Show a picture in xnview that has alpha mask ...

How to add a button to show-hide alphas?

Hi!
In the menus there is a command to show or hide alpha channel in the picture. The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+H.

I want to add a button to show or hide alpahs directly in the interface.
But I cannot find the command in the list in the toolbar customization panel.

Is there a way to do it? I will ...

Re: "Compare" utility. Adding a button to unlink the views

I agree with Florian!
This idea of the relative/absolute switch is great.
It could solve my problem in an easy way.

I hope it will be added soon...I need it almost everyday.

"Compare" utility. Adding a button to unlink the views

The compare utility inside Xnview is used to compare two pictures of the same size. When you pan the first view the second one move too.
But sometimes is it useful to compare two picture of different size.
If the first picture is very big and the second very small that's impossible to compare them ...

Re: Windows 7 integration? And "JumpLists" before final?

I have another idea for the jumplist of Xnview in Win7!
Right now it only shows the last opened files!

What a user really need instead is a list of the last opened forlders in Xnview! That's useful!
Just one right click and you will see all the last opened folders. You choose one and you ...

Hello!
I'm using Windows7 sp1 x64.
I added Xnview to the taskbar.
When I right click on the icon I see the jumplist of Xnview.
In this jump list I see only the last opened pictures.

Is there a way to see (and pin) also the last opened folders?

This could be very helpful. You can open Xnview and ...

A very simple painting program with just 1 brush

I often use a painting program just to write a simple note on a picture, or to draw a circle on an element or to put an X on a error.
I use a tablet so it's very fast to write down something on a picture.
I use Photoshop to do it but it is stupid to use such a huge program also for a simple note.

I ...

Re: Cut button sometimes act like a copy button

It's not so easy to say because it doesn't happen always!
For example today I cannot make the bug appear. Today cut and paste work perfectly.

As soon as the bug happen again I will write down every single step with more precision.
So everyone can test if I'm the only one to have it.

Cut button sometimes act like a copy button

I added the but button in the toolbar of Xnview.
I select some photos, click the cut button, open a windows xp folder and click the windows paste botton.
What I get is 90% of the time a copy operation instead of a cut operation.
Expecially when moving files from a partition to another.

Dragging folders in the folder tree view

I would be very helpful to mode folders in the tree view.
I click on a folder and drag it to the location you want.

Very very easy to do. Like in normal windows explorer windows.
