Post by dust »

Hi guys) I work for a long time with XnView prog. and I realize, no any useful pain tool,
example:

I want to Load any image press P(key) then start to draw, I don't want to open Paint 1.0.(Shift+P another window), just P, and with a same window ,opened just draw)

XnView has a Paint tool which allows for adding text, draw lines and rectangles. But it does not allow for scribbling on the image.

The Paint tool works vector based, this does not prevent scribbling, but all scribbling will have to be converted to vectors. Not sure how difficult this is, but should be feasible.

Are there other people who need scribbling for the Paint tool? What is the use case, here? Why would you want to scribble on your image?

I'm an graphic artist.
When I create a new picture I need to write on the picture where mistakes are, what needs improvements, what to delete, and what to add, which colors are wrong etc.

i usually use photoshop to write on the pictures the modification they need. But it is stupid to use a big program like Photoshop just to do a few signs and write some texts. I use a tablet and so I also write on pictures by hand.

If you add a "scribble" feature to Paint I will use it a lot! But for me it is better if is not vector based! A simple raster brush is more than enough for me. No need for airbrush effect, pressure sensivity, nothing. Just a brush, a color, a size.
Nothing else!
