I've build only a 10.4 version, i'll try to build a 10.3.9
Don't worry. I guess it's not that important, since many people switch to Leopard, anyways. And you've got enough work to do already, not? ;)

Please note that this alpha version's purpose is to give you a first impression. Please do not report bugs, yet.

Whups... must've missed that line somehow in the eve of excitement ^^'

Anyways, I cannot join into the crash-complaining that much (only had the one mentioned above (and that one ...

Great! Thanks, Pierre! :D

For me, Alpha 0.001 works under: MacMini-PPC/OSX10.4.11

Does NOT work under: iBook-PPC/OSX10.3.9//crashes immediately upon double-clicking the icon

Addition: The option-bars "FILE" dialogue appears to be empty (nothing to choose from). Is that correct?

Hi Pierre,

I downloaded both the "App", and the "Exe"-Version, and here are my results;

1.) Downloaded the "App", unpacked, and started it. First X11 comes up, and next I get a nice little window telling me "Running"... One minute,... two minutes,... seven minutes later... nothing happens. So I ...

Deselect Folders from view&folder tree showing file size

Hi, I know this might sound weird, but how about an option to deselect folders to be shown in the displayed folder trees in XnView?

It's quite nice that I can navigate all though my file-system, but I don't need all of them to be shown in the navigation bar at the left - especially not with a Unix ...

I know everyone likes X264 but if it can't be used in VirtualDub what use is it?

Well, if you use VirtualDub, then I guess it is pretty useless.
But if you use a different front-end, like VisualHub for example, it is the best choice.
Always depends on the front-end, that is... but that's just my ...

What do you mean with flash?

XnView doesn't support drag&drop right now, as far as I know, since it only runs under X11 as a "native" Unix-app without Aqua (or so I figure).

What conversation? What are you talking about?! ^^'

Do you mean, you cannot open XnView, and you only drop files on it's ...

But I just installed XnView 1.70 on suse 10 and I've a problem with color: all images are displayed as I used a strong colored filter to take photos.

Have anyone already observed this?

Not here.... but I only got Ubuntu 6.10 running on this old ...

Java does not work everywhere. At least, not always in the same way. :)

And it's happy to crash in it's own time, too. :mrgreen:

Nice hack, mate! :)

But now Xnview doesn't remember the last folder visited anymore. :?

Hi, small update here;

Yesterday I've got my "new" ibook-G4-1Ghz, sold to me by a friend, and I instantly installed a fresh copy with Panther 10.3.9 on it, with all updates and patches available.
First program I installed on it was, of course, Xnview.
Guess What?
First time I launched it, the ...
