I assume it's from the Show info icons (EXIF/IPTC/Shortcut) option but I still can't find any info on them in the help or forums.
Are there any other icons or are these the only 3?
Strange. Perhaps the Thumbnail and the real image are out of sync and have different orientation. So the thumbnail might actually be rotated, but is still not in correct orientation.pqee wrote:...
This leads to a few questions:
1. If the 1 has the rotation icon, how come the thumbnail isn't rotated.
Perhaps you have rotated the images yourself (and reset the EXIF info)?pqee wrote:2. How come the other 5 are rotated in the preview pane if they don't have the rotation icon on them in the thumbnail (so no exif orientation info?)?
Sometimes, the thumbnail or picture is already rotated.pqee wrote:This leads to a few questions:

Perhaps you could send me some samples?pqee wrote:Thanks for the info guys. I'm using a Sony camera, DSC-S90.
I'm going to screw around with the orientation and exif info to see if I can figure this out. I at least want to get the thumbnail and image on the same page.
I was going to send you a couple but I just found out my wife was messing around with the images and already rotated the vertical pictures. That explains why the thumbnails aren't rotated but the images themselves are.xnview wrote:Perhaps you could send me some samples?pqee wrote:Thanks for the info guys.
