Free "Screen paint and Redline Overlay" software?

Post by Peter2 » Tue Nov 29, 2011 11:17 am

I don't know the correct words, but I will try to describe my idea ...

There are some tools which offer features like "
  • markups and comments in PDF;
  • Redlining in CAD;
  • Textmarker and Highlight and so on in presentation-mode of Powerpoint
  • ....
Is there a free software which offers this features (marking, highlighting, ..) as an Screen-Overlay for all other software?
This would be fine for some software presentations - I start and display some software, then I start the screen-overlay-software to "paint and to mark on the screen".
Of course this software should not change the data of the underlying software - it should "paint only on screen" and can be erased with one click.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter (=
  • EduTechWiki (Université de Genève): On-screen annotation
  • Moodle Forums: Screen Annotation software?
  • Windows Sysinternals: ZoomIt
    ZoomIt is screen zoom and annotation tool for technical presentations that include application demonstrations. ZoomIt runs unobtrusively in the tray and activates with customizable hotkeys to zoom in on an area of the screen, move around while zoomed, and draw on the zoomed image. I wrote ZoomIt to fit my specific needs and use it in all my presentations.
  • YpgSoft: SlideMate
    SlideMate is a On-Screen Annotation Tool to mark Screen in anytime, anywhere, and any application. it can Open/Close by One-Touch only.
    It can help you to create stunning slideshow, draw a pencil picture for kids, make a cool effect on your report or teaching!
    It is quickly and easily from anywhere, only One-Touch, such as Mouse Wheel click!
I hope this is the kind of tool you're looking for.
