I cannot find where I can manage the favorites folders - delete, edit, rename and so on.

Into a file :bookmark.ini , here: XnViewMP-051bookmark.ini ... so probably:XnViewMP-053bookmark.ini

You're welcome - I hope too because, beside this file is not placed by default into the right folder here, if the setting "Folder for other files" = Program(XnView). So these files should be located into the same folder as xnview.sh file, why this choose Pierre ?
