1 option for MP view mode.
Auto rename wrong extension: auto rename the wrong extension to a correct one if MP is viewing a file with wrong extension.
A small hint text / highlight icon or something activated/showed in a short time to notice the user that auto rename has applied to the current file will be more appreciated!
A small hint text / highlight can't be a pop up windows because a pop up window will break up the smooth of viewing pictures.
Improvement if the user doesn't want the correction applys to the correcting file, just click the hint and MP will cancel the correction of the correcting file.
1 option for XnConvert when the output format is original.

Re: Correct wrong extension
Hello, +1 good idea ... for an option to prompt the user and ask to rename it (by default, or automatically=custom), if it's a wrong extension (if scan files headers not match the .file name extension ... ex: file1.gif instead file1.jpg)lostcpu wrote:1 option for MP view mode.

... By why only into the viewer mode ... can also be in the browser mode too, or into the menu Tools\check headers and rename extension from a base path ?
Or, maybe a way to have the ability to detect and correct the errors into files (so not only the name extension - for corrupted files)

Re: Correct wrong extension
Because I think scanning in browser mode might cause big consumption of recourse. but if not, yes, it's a good idea to have it in browser mode, too.oops66 wrote:Hello, +1 good idea ... for an option to prompt the user and ask to rename it (by default, or automatically=custom), if it's a wrong extension (if scan files headers not match the .file name extension ... ex: file1.gif instead file1.jpg)lostcpu wrote:1 option for MP view mode.
