If you choose to have fairly big thumbnails, the green "arrow up" icon to go to the parent folder will always show up at the top-left corner of the thumbnail page. It takes the full space of a thumbnail. Since it also shows up in the toolbar, this can be a bit of a waste or real-estate space. There should be an option to not show "parent folder" in the thumbnails.
Thanks!

It would be missed by keyboard users with no mouse.
It could be an option though for mouse users.

Go to Tools | Settings | File List | Custom Filter
Uncheck the "Parent Folder"'s "Visible" check box.
