*First of all, this problem may not be an XnView issue, but a Windows issue, or it may be due to my Windows PC environment.
I work with image formats WebP and AVIF a lot. The problem is that the icons are the same for both, making it difficult to tell them apart.
When I read the registry, both have the ProgID XnViewMP.image. If possible, please give WebP and AVIF different ProgIDs.
For example, XnViewMP.webp & XnViewMP.avif
That way, you can easily give different icons to the two image formats.
