Draw module: Cannot use Eyedropper because of cursor

Post by m.Th. »

Steps:

1. Dbl-click on a image to open it in editor
2. Shift+D to open Draw module.
3. Click on Eyedropper.

Expected: The cursor should change.

Actual: The cursor is changed but the result is „garbage” - it cannot be used.

I've just tried to reproduce the problem but Eyedropper works fine for me: X and Y position and colour value (decimal and hexadezimal) are displayed. What do you mean with "garbage"?

Note: Only irritating thing for me that I found is that 0,0 coordinate is top left of the picture and most top left pixel has coordinate has 0,0. I verified with Corel PhotoPaint and it's the same there. Looks like I've worked with Corel Draw too often, coordinate system in Corel Draw is different but Corel Draw isn't a bitmap/pixel image viewer so it's comparing apples and oranges.

The shape of cursor isn't displayed correctly. See the following picture: (the „cursor” is at the end of the coffe arrow)

m.Th.: Thanks for the screenshot - a real camera shot of the screen. ;-) Sounds much very like the QT problem that XnTriq found.
