XnConvert has trouble converting image formats in Windows 11

The file format does not change after conversion

Do you have JPEG selected on your Output tab?

And which version of XnConvert are you using?

If 'Preserve extension' is selected, shouldn't the 'Format' options on the right be greyed out, otherwise isn't there a conflict in the interface?

Extension is keepd but not the format, so it can saves JPEG with png extension

I'll take your word for that sometimes being useful...
But here the option has caused confusion, maybe no way of avoiding that?

in fact, it's for users that have .tiff or .jpeg as extension and don't want .tif or .jpg

The problem was solved
uncheck 'preserve extension'
