reset view to top
I am using XnViewMP to read comics and I must use fullscreen/width. Moving from one page to the next keeps the view in the same vertical location. How can I set the software to reset the vertical position to the top of image when moving to the next image?

Re: reset view to top
Welcome to the XnView forum and thank you for registering, prschwob. Reading your description it sounds as if "Lock zoom" is activated. By default "Lock zoom" is deactivated, once activated XnView will make sure that both zoom factor and position isn't changed when navigating to previous/next image. Could you please check and make sure that in image view "View > Lock Zoom" is deactivated / unchecked?

Re: reset view to top
Many thanks for the suggestion, but I'm afraid that didn't do the trick. It was deactivated (unchecked).

Thank you for checking and your reply. Could you please describe in more detail what happens? Do your comics have all the same image size (pixels)? A screen (capture) video showing the problem would be perfect.

Re: reset view to top
Many thanks for following up.
I tried to attach a MOV capture of the issue, but the file is too large for this board.
Here's a link to the MOV file on Dropbox...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/203s9b13e1e5a ... 3.mov?dl=1
I should clarify that this MOV was made on a very large screen (desktop). The issue becomes a problem on my laptop (13" Macbook Air)
To answer your questions: No, the files are of different sizes (in pixel).
Thanks again,
P.

Please give the following configuration a try:
- Go to Tools → Settings… → View → View.
- Set Auto image size to Fit image to window width.
- Activate Show scrollbars.
- Activate Reset X/Y.
- Go to Tools → Settings… → Fullscreen.
- Set Auto image size to Fit image to window width.
- Activate Show scrollbars.

Re: reset view to top
Glad to hear that (which renders my question about switching modes obsolete)

… but still nowhere near your postcount
