Batch adding date to photo - just to say : thanks!

Post by mrwul »

I regularly want to add date-time to a photo, or screenshot.
When only a few photos/screenshots, I create in Snagit and then add the date-time manually (add a text box, with the date time).
One by one.

Now I had a series of 40 photos, so I went on to search for tools that could do that.
From one site to the other, then I discoved the trick using 'Batch Convert', then Add Action, select EXIF, Date Time taken, etc.

Just to say THANKS to Pierre!

It saves me a lot of time.
(yes .. I should be ashamed: I was not aware of this feature...)

Since year 20xx, it is no longer possible to add a caption to photos in Google photos.
With batch convert, we can automatically add a banner (canvas resize, height 110%) under the photos and add captions, titles, names, dates, etc. to them.
I also check or change timestamps to make sure that the photos can easily be sorted in the right order in G albums.
