Can noise be removed in xnview mp?

There are various filters in Effect > Effect... that you could look at, I am not immediately aware of any other options.

I see that there is near the end of the list of filters a Reduce noise filter... :D

I've never used it myself, as indicated I didn't even know that it was listed until you posted!

Are you saying that when selected there is absolutely no discernible effect, which might possibly relate to the characteristics of the image to which it was applied, or that XnView MP crashes, for example?

Use G'MIC plug in - newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=41526

Or use Topaz Lab software.
