Fit Window to Image and Reset X/Y incompatible?

Post by mfeingol »

I just upgraded to 1.90.2. The behavior mentioned in the title seems to have changed from 1.80.4.

When 'Fit Window to Image' is selected and you move to the next image, the next image is always centered in the display.

In previous versions, I could select 'reset x/y' and start at the top left of the image. I don't see a way to get this behavior back in 1.90.2.

Thanks.

Do you use 'Force Xnview to fit' too?

I'm using 'Fit window to image' and 'Force Xnview to fit' checked. I also curious to see 'reset x/y' is disabled.

Besides the problem as mfeingol mentioned, Xnview doesn't maintain the position of window, and always be centered on screen. I can hardly imagine a logical reason. Please let me know why it is or it's just not-yet-featured.

To answer your question, that setting is irrelevant. The unexpected behavior with the y coordinate happened regardless, since the 'reset x/y' setting was disabled.
