Hi, I have the following problem in XnView 1.66:
When the following options are selected: "View"->"Double-Click to go to the browser" and "Browser"->"Startup directory"->"Specified", double click in the view returns not to the current directory in the browser, but to the startup directory.
Dbl. Click in view and specified startup dir

Yes, but what's the correct behavior in this case? I wrote about this some time ago in newsgroup. According to me, when switching from viewer to browser after doubleclick on viewed picture, the browser should start in the picture's directory, independently on what is set as startup directory for browser.xnview wrote:Yes, a bug.helmut wrote:Could easily reproduce your problem. This is now most annoying thing on xnview for me

Re: Dbl. Click in view and specified startup dir
I'd expect the behaviour to be exactly what you have described: At start up, the directory specified in the options is used. But when double-clicking on an image, the image's path should be used as browser dir. Think that's Pierre's understanding, too. Please wait a bit more...maijkl wrote:Yes, but what's the correct behavior in this case? ...
