hello
i see in xnview specs that it can read pdf's, provided that ghostscript is installed in the system.
i have it, installed by cuteprinter pdf. i also tried copying the gsdll32.dll in the plugin directiry of xnview, but xnview doesnt seem to see it among the other plugin dll's.
how can i tell xnview that gs is already installed ?
thanks, j.

AFAIK, XnView looks in the default Ghostscript directory (C:\Ghostscript\gs8.11\bin) for the relevant files under Windows. (I assume that you're running Windows, since you didn't say.) If you are, you could try adding the location of the gs dll to your PATH statement, or use a system variable to the same effect.
snvie/pdf
thanks
yes i'm using win2k
i tried adding the path to the windows environment, but xnview still doesnt know how to open the pdf's.
i'd have thought that hardcoded path were over, but cuteprinter pdf too still needs it.
i'll try installing the full ghostscript.
thanks again
