Remembering zoom level in Fullscreen

Post by qsdnlj »

Problem: I view image 1 in Fullscreen (F11) and I zoom in several times ('+'). I then go to image 2 (PgDn). When I return to image 1 (PgUp), it is no longer zoomed in. It doesn't remember the zoom level. So I have to zoom in all over again ('+').

Is there any way to solve this problem?

[I'm using Version 1.98.5 (Nov 18 2011), Libformat Version 6.01.]

Lock zoom should do it: Ctrl + Numpad /
(in context menu)

Aside:
A remember previous zoom setting might be familiar in another program, but perhaps tabs/multiple windows would make this an awkward suggestion for program.

Thanks for the information, but this solves one problem by creating another problem. I zoom in on image 1, lock zoom, and then go to image 2, which is now zoomed in because of image 1! Am I perhaps doing something wrong? Thanks.

Auto Image size is the only alternative setting I'm aware of:
Options... View>Auto Image Size [Fit image to window large only]
Options... View>Fullscreen>Auto Image Size [Fit image to window large only]
And in context menu.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see how your suggestion solves the problem. Now every too-large image is fit to the window, even if you've zoomed in on one earlier.

Lock zoom exists in 2 different places- Browser and Viewer: which currrently act like seperate animals (including their own independent fullscreens). I recommend checking lock zoom settings again to see if they have not been reset by switching between modes (or changing options).

Yet another setting:
Lock auto image size: shortcut (ctrl+numpad *)
