'Rename' tab

Often, when combining functionality things get complicated and cumbersome. But in some cases, combining functionality can offer more flexibility and more effectivity.

In the past, some people have thought and some people have expressed their wish to combine batch processing and batch renaming. So far, I had been hesitant, but with XnConvert as a standalone program the need to combine these two types of batch actions has become urgent and a logical consequence.
Since version 1.0, renaming had been included in XnConvert. But until now renaming is located and a bit hidden amongst many other settings.

Below please find a draft of XnConvert with renaming functionality on a separate tab:

Notes:
- Tab 'Actions' has been renamed to 'Processing'
- A '*' in the tab title indicates that processing and/or renaming is active.
- Windows title 'Input: 2 file(s)' has been 'streamlined' and changed to 'Input: 2 files' to improve readability.

From my point of view, the 'Rename' tab makes things clearer. There might be an even better way to separate the various stuff which is currently located in 'Output tab'.

Fantastic, I agree

....Should be as straight-forward as re-using the existing "batch rename" code of XnView MP.

I think that a "Rename" tab would make XnConvert stand out more as an independent application of the XnView family as currently it feels like an offshoot clone of XnView MP's Batch Convert without much uniqueness except scripting.

I prefer we keep that tab named as 'Actions' and not change it's name. The name 'Processing' is not as good. Just my opinion.

Hmm, the function the user uses in XnView MP is named 'batch processing', so why not use it as tab title? (assuming that the functionality is offered standalone as 'XnConvert' and integrated in XnView MP.) "In tab 'Processing' you specify the actions that are used for processing the image. All actions are listed in an action list.". Sounds reasonable and understandable to me.

At the moment, 'Actions' is also o.k.. In case the suggested 'Batch rename with action list was implemented, we would have to change it to something else, then, since batch rename also uses actions.
