Question About Converting Jpgs to Jpeg2000

Hello,

I have a question. I have .jpg files with IPTC and EXIF metadata. If I use XnView to convert these files to Jpeg2000 will this information get removed or will it remain?

Any assistance anyone can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I see no extra info retained. The information dialog which appears upon saving is correct: "Be careful, saving in this format will lose existing metadata!"

Currently IPTC/EXIF can't be written by JPEG2000
