Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to drag an image from the internet browser (using Chrome) directly into the thumbnail view of a folder in Xnview (or worst case into the browser).
I do a lot of image research and at the moment I always need to drag it to windows explorer or save it to the disk before being able to place it in different folders...
Maybe there is a way to do but I couldnt find it on the forum or online. Help would be very much appreciated!

That does not work using Chrome on my system, but is successful using Firefox.
1. Navigate to the folder in XnView
2. Drag the image from the web page (shown in Firefox) over the XnView thumb panel and release the mouse button.
Appears to be problem with Chrome.

Hmm I see what you mean. I would like a solution that doesn't involve having to change browser. Right now I'm able to drag and drop images from Chrome to the windows native browser, Total Commander and even other apps like Zoner Photo Studio.... is this something that for sure doesn't work? Or maybe I have to drop it in a more specific area or something?

I have not been successful with Chrome to any of the targets you mention.
