Idea: cursor Hover over tab for a thumbnail preview

Hi,

The feature of placing your mouse cursor over a web browser tab and having a thumbnial preview of the website show as a sort of thumb tooltip is a an established tabbed-browsing feature hovering over a tab.



I think this is a feature that could be too considered for XnView MP's 'view' tabs especially when using the Browser and desiring to get a quick preview of what image is loaded in each view tab

I hope Qt supports it. I also strongly suggest that the thumbnail be of small size, something like

The feature is very useful for if in the Browser and wanting to get a quick preview of opened view tabs.

Also for the tab bar of XnView MP there could be a button for a drop-down menu of previews to All opened view tabs, especially when tab bar is fully filled up of opened view tabs, much similar to the way Paint.NET does it with it's tab bar:

Perhaps XnView MP could have a similar but closer to "original design" (own design) approach to this.

Right so in Settings>Interface>tabs there should be the settings for this

• [tickbox] Tab Thumbnail preview on mouseover
• Thumbnail preview size: [spinbox] x [spinbox]
