Well, I've noted some pictures I'm perfectly sure I had put into categories have lost their categorization (no category attributed to them) for no obvious reason and it's quite a problem considering the amount of time I've spent doing it. I don't think I've done anything wrong and I'm afraid XnViewMP is not being very reliable.
Furthermore, I've tried to click on Others - Without categories to display pictures without categories and put them back but it displays pictures with categories as well and some of my uncategorized pictures are displayed twice though they're not duplicate. Please, I'd need some help. I'm so frustrated I would cry. I'm so happy to be over with this work and to find out I'll have to redo some and don't know how, I'm up for murder really. Please, please, help me...

Pierre I have sent you a copy of my dB plus ini file as I know there's nothing you can say without having these.
I also realize my request is not very clear : I wish to be able to see only uncategorized files when using the function Others > Without category (Autres > Sans categories) as it shows everything so how can I spot them amongst thousands of files? Even with the little category tag on thumbnails it's a bit like looking for needle in a pack of hay.
