xif to pdf

Hello, New to the board and the application. I installed XnConvert on my MacBookPro to convert a number of music .xif files to .pdf When I do the conversion the pdf (or jpg) has grey streaks in the document. I have uploaded an image with this post. I have converted the same file with Gimp and there is no streaking. Any help would be great.
